What are Adviser Groups?

Adviser Group:
“Adviser Group” is one of the unique projects of Aoyama University. To simply word this, it is a group made up of students and professors from many different faculties and departments. Students can join any groups that they like according to the fields that seem interesting to them. There are many types of Adviser groups in this university, like trains, art, travel, sweets, and so on with each group having from 5 to 35 students. Advisor Groups are different from clubs and circles in that students can build strong relationships with the professors or the conductors. According to some students who joined the adviser groups, students can gain deep knowledge by asking questions or having conversations with the professors or the conductors.
Book Making Advisor Group:
Take “book making ”adviser group as an example. In this advisor group, participants do an active with Ms. Niwai two days a month. Using old‑fashioned tools, you will do tasks such as binding your favorite paperback book or making a notebook with your favorite paper. In addition, they will visit the site where books are made, and they will also hold a summer camp at a bookbinding workshop.
